Homeopathy Supervision GroupThe GroupThis group is intended to give support and supervision to Homeopaths in their early years of practice and to final-year Homeopathy students. The group is facilitated by Gordon Adam and aims to meet the diverse needs of the participants in each meeting. This includes case-discussion and analysis ('What needs to be cured?', remedy, potency, strategies, etc.), case-management issues, different models/theories of prescribing, professional and business issues, ethics, topic discussion, materia medica, personal issues arising in the course of practice, emotional and practical support etc. Where and WhenThere are 2 groups, one in Bristol and one in Newport, each consisting of up to 8 participants. Each group meets once a month on Thursday evenings, from 7-10pm. The Bristol group is held at my home in St Andrews and the Newport group at The Newport Clinic of Holistic Health. The fee is £20 per session. Participants agree to commit to coming regularly to the group (per 6 sessions) and the fee is still payable on non-attendance. The FacilitatorI have been in full-time Homeopathy practice since 1988, in Bristol and Newport, having trained at Misha Norland's School of Homeopathy in Devon. I have taught and supervised Homeopathy students from different colleges for the last 10 years or so. I have been a participant in several long-term, in-depth, Homeopathy supervision groups and recently attended the first Group Supervision training day organised by the Society of Homeopaths in London. I also have some years experience of facilitating Inquiry and Focusing groups in Bristol. I see my role as facilitator being in part to affirm and support the different resources and experience that people bring to the group. I do not see myself as having 'all the answers' but I do have a lot of experience in Homeopathy and in group process, both of which I enjoy a lot. I feel very positive and enthusiastic about running these groups. ContactContact me by email at gordonadam@blueyonder.co.uk or telephone 0117 9080494 for further information about the groups. | |
