Acupuncture restores and maintains health, as well as preventing illness.

In Chinese Medicine it is considered that ill-health is attributable to an imbalance of vital energy (known as Qi).  When we experience symptoms, whether mental, physical or emotional (for example, headache, arthritis, insomnia, depression, digestive problems etc) an imbalance of Qi is diagnosed and is readily treatable.

Traditional Chinese acupuncturists make a careful diagnosis and use very fine needles to direct and re-balance the flow of Qi in the body.  Herbs may also be prescribed.  The aim of treatment is to address the main complaint and also its underlying cause, and to improve general health and well-being.

Cost:  Initial consultation £70, further appointments £47
