John Plowman

I have a background as a lecturer in education, psychology and sociology in further and higher education. I am a member of the British Psychological Society, the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists, and the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy. I have degrees from the Universities of London and Wales, which includes a PhD, and an MA in Psychology. I have a certificate, diploma and advanced diploma in Hypno-Psychotherapy. I have also trained in counselling.

I have practised since 1990. My professional training was from 1987-1990 with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. I have also trained in 1993, 1996 and 1999 with the Advanced Communication Training Centre in NYC, USA, in Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

I work for a number of agencies which run employee assistant programmes. They work in conjunction with various companies to help employees with personal and work problems e.g. stress.
