Ellen Park

I am a registered osteopath and qualified in 2002 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, London.   I also have a diploma in Naturopathic Medicine.   I have been practicing at the Newport Clinic of Holistic Health ever since. I was brought up in Newport and my family are close by so I am familiar with the area.   I also work at an osteopathic practice in Malvern, Worcestershire.

I am a keen sportswoman and play badminton, go jogging and swim when time permits. I endured a back injury playing badminton and this was when my initial interest in osteopathy began. It is a fascinating field of medicine that can treat a diverse range of conditions and one that affords the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life.

I decided to further my knowledge of medicine in 2005 and applied to the University of Wales graduate entry medical school. In September 2005, I started a four year degree course at Swansea medical school. At the end of the course I hope to become a paediatrician as well as an osteopath as I believe the two complement each other well.
